What is a GIX?

The GIX is an infrastructure which allows its users to exchange traffic locally.

The GIX users can improve the bandwidth and avoid additional costs, due to an important data transport.

In other words, a GIX is a major factor for the local Internet developpement : the users located in the same city can exchange traffic locally, without going through distant infrastructures located in Paris, London, Amsterdam even New York for example.

Beneficiaries

Our Internet exchange points are open to international, national and local operators. Associations, local authorities but also small, medium and large size business can be connected along their ISP (Internet Service Provider)

The NAP Option
