The GIX is an infrastructure which allows its users to exchange traffic locally.The GIX users can improve the bandwidth and reduce the data transfer additional costs. Therefore, a GIX is a major factor for the local Internet developpement : the users located in the same city can exchange traffic locally, rather than having to go through remote infrastructure, such as via Paris, London, Amsterdam or even New York.

Our Internet exchange points are available for local, national and international operators and service providers, but also for local DSP (the outsourcing of a public service). Companies, municipalities and associations can also interconnect or benefit from our GIX trough their ISP (Internet service providers).

Our GIX are also NAP (Network access points) : the NAP allows the users to buy and/or to sell transit to one another.
