"hosTELyon is the neutral Carrier Hotel in Lyon (telecom-oriented datacenter not owned by a telecom operator in the market). Exciting exchanges between our four speakers during this afterwork dedicated to Emotional Intelligence in companies. For more than 1h30, Lisa Bellinghausen, Catherine Dou Eustaquio, Laurence Doumba Kinda and Nadia Boulegroun shared, with the audience, their practices and analyses of the phenomenon.
This round table, moderated by Élodie Mervelay from Rezopole, focused on the definition of Emotional Intelligence and its interpretation within the company.

Broadband needs are exploding with the advent of "Over The Top" (OTT) networks and the strong growth of services such as Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, OCS, MyCanal...
Initial observations between the 2017 and 2018 Christmas holidays show a +60% increase in the throughput consumed in hotels and hotel residences. For these establishments, connections in Mbs will soon no longer be enough and requests in 1, 2, 3 or even 4 Gbs are beginning to arrive.
From now on, it is essential for telecom and Internet operators to organise themselves in order to be able to respond effectively to this need, which was yesterday emerging and is now very present.
This is the objective of yALPA! We must encourage the actors of Very High Speed deployment to meet and get to know each other better in order to consider future collaborations rather than planning, each on its own, investments in the same places.
The local DSPs (38, 73 and 74) do part of the work, but simply changing departments is complicated. Let us bet that by exchanging informally, a collective intelligence will make it possible to accelerate the arrival of really Very High Speed offers in the Alps (resorts but also valleys and plains).
It is understood that the results of these initial yALPA discussions will not have immediate effect. However, in the more or less short term, the problems currently encountered in terms of HSBB in tourist areas can be solved.

Rezopole et L'Augusterie are pleased to invite you to the 9th RezoGirls meeting on Tuesday, December 4th from 6:30 pm. During this event dedicated to women in the IT sector, three speakers will discuss the theme "Positive! Negative! Negative! The impact of digital technology on work".
Ludovic Bugand, engineer and ergonomist, is a project manager at Anact (the National Agency for the Improvement of Working Conditions). The Anact aims to improve working conditions by acting in particular on work organisation and professional relations. Ludovic leads the Anact-Aract network on the field of digital work transformation. His work aims to shed light on the implications of digital technology for work and to develop new change management regimes.
In 2003, Dimitri Meunier joined the General Directorate of the National Gendarmerie where he managed the main digital projects for seven years. In 2010, he began his legal studies with internships in the IT Department of the Valence Romans conurbation and then in the legal department of the SNCF. Since 2012, Dimitri has been a lawyer specializing in telecommunications, software, computer security and usage law. In 2018, he joined ASEA AVOCATS to develop the digital division.
Oriane Piquer-Louis has one foot in the human sciences and the other in telecommunications. She has a literary background and has always been involved in computer science. Self-taught, she worked for several years as a web developer, before returning to research in Information and Communication Sciences. A volunteer since 2010 at Quadrature du Net, she currently chairs the Federation of Associative ISPs, known as the Fédération FDN, whose telecoms regulation working group she leads.
Rezopole, in partnership with Augusterie, is organizing the 9th edition of RezoGirls on December 4th, with the theme: "Positive! Negative! The impact of digital technology on work.".
With speakers: Ludovic Bugand (Agence Nationale pour l'Amélioration des Conditions de Travail), Dimitri Meunier (lawyer in digital law and new technologies) and Oriane Piquer-Louis (Fédération des Fournisseurs d'Accès Internet Associatif).
