The European IXP Association organises its bi-annual forum, from 15th to 17th of April in Galway. The objective of these meetings is to develop, strengthen and improve the IXP community. They share their experiences and explore new perspectives needed to address the challenges ahead.

Euro-IX organises 2 Forums per year, held each time in a different city in Europe. These meetings were launched to bring together all IXPs affiliated to Euro-IX in one place to address relevant topics related to Internet exchange points. Forums include discussions on both technical and managerial topics, presentations by vendors and representatives related to IXPs, as well as social events.

Samuel Triolet, Jean-Daniel Pauget and Noémie Clemençon from Rezopole are glad to meet the European IXP community during 2 days in Barcelona (Spain).

The 30th Euro-IX forum is hosted by CATNIX on 9th-11th of April, 2017.

 About Euro-IX

The Euro-IX association was created in 2001. It has aimed at developing and supporting the Internet exchange points (IXP) community in Europe and worldwide since 2005.

The Association's most important activity is organizing two annual forums: these international meetings bring together more than 100 participants from more than 30 member countries of the Association to discuss relevant issues faced by Internet Exchanges. These meetings are held in various capitals or cities in Europe and include two-day forum and a gala dinner.
